Specialist, Design Engineer (AAA)

Imagine being the person who design tool, jig, and fixture to satisfy all requests from the development stage to the mass production stage, as well as to supply drawings for document registration. [Plating tools design]

Key accountabilities:

Tools, Jig & fixture, Mechanical skills

  • Participate in conceptual and tool design review.

  • Participate in tool fabrication and revising to meet target in both quality and safety.

  • Initiate and provide a support to those improvement projects for tool and jigs and fixtures design per assigned.

Machine operating and Software operating 

  • Keep updating technical and tooling design knowledge in a Design Software to ensure data are storage properly and safely, for future use as reference.

  • Keep the workplaces and machine and equipment in good function order to consistently meet safety requirements.

Collaboration 

  • Support requester in providing comments and suggestions so that the system and tool design can be improved.  

  • Fulfilled additional responsibilities and take on accountability as specified or assigned, including cooperatively.

Documentation

  • Ensure quality and accuracy of drawing within provided lead times.

  • Organizes and maintain a backup system of all existing drawings.


We love that you are…

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar design engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

  • Proficient in the use of CAD software is a must or CAM will be plus, such as ZWCAD, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
