Specialist, Paid Media (m/f/d) – Hamburg

The Specialist, Paid Media is responsible for coordinating and steering paid media activities across the Northern Europe follower markets, including Benelux, ACH and Nordics. The role acts as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders, local markets and media agency partners, ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently, consistently and in line with business objectives. A key focus is driving agency performance, operational excellence and cross-market collaboration.

Agency Management & Performance Steering
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for media agency partners across assigned markets.
- Lead agency briefings and ensure clear communication of campaign objectives, priorities and business goals.
- Challenge agency recommendations and ensure media investment decisions are aligned with business goals and performance objectives.
- Monitor agency performance against KPIs and agreed deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement and the implementation of media best practices.
- Ensure high-quality planning, execution, reporting and optimization from agency partners.
Market Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate paid media activities across the Benelux, ACH and Nordic markets.
- Balance local market needs with regional and global priorities.
- Act as the key liaison between local Marketing teams, Global Media, Brand, CRM and agency partners.
- Facilitate alignment meetings and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Foster strong collaboration across multiple stakeholders and markets.
Campaign Execution & Operational Excellence
- Oversee the end-to-end rollout of paid media campaigns across follower markets.
- Ensure campaigns are launched accurately, on time and in line with agreed timelines.
- Coordinate campaign assets, approvals and market-specific requirements.
- Ensure adherence to global guidelines, governance processes and best practices.
- Drive operational excellence and flawless campaign execution across all markets.
Performance Management & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance across channels and markets.
- Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with agency partners to identify optimization opportunities.
- Evaluate campaign results against business and media KPIs.
- Consolidate learnings and recommendations to improve future campaign performance.
WE DREAM - This is what we dream of:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
- Several years of experience within Paid Media, Digital Marketing, Media Planning or a similar discipline
- Proven experience managing and challenging media agency partners in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of paid media channels, performance marketing principles and campaign measurement
- Ability to analyze campaign data, identify trends and translate insights into strategic recommendations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across local, regional and global teams
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines in a dynamic international environment
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Experience working in a matrix organization and across multiple markets is an advantage
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus
